I used to be a total ritual purist. If my altar wasn’t perfect with all the correspondences and moon phase, I’d skip it entirely. Meant I wasn’t casting much at all. Then life got rough, no energy for setups, so I whispered a charged word into my cupped hands before a tough phone call. Worked better than my fanciest rituals. In fact, I was just reading the spellwork success thread and my first one word spell was probably my best… by faaaaar.
Pair it with a mudra. I press index finger to thumb for ‘Tutelum’. Now my body kicks in with protection before I finish saying it. Like a Pavlovian anchor for the energy. Makes access super quick once it’s set.
