I know exactly what you mean. I tried a “kiss me” spell from some free spell site back in high school, red candle, lipstick, piece of paper, on a girl I couldn’t even talk to. The next day she froze when she saw me, walked straight over, and hugged me out of nowhere. We ended up close friends. Never dated though; I spelled myself right into the friend zone, apparently.
