Share Your Funny Affirmations

Does anyone else do funny affirmations, or is it just me?

I’ve been trying to build a more positive mindset, and I know my subconscious needs to be tricked into self-love. LOL

People say I’m a ridiculous person, ha, and I’m okay with that.

My current affirmations are “the universe cannot resist me, I am cosmically adorable,” and “I’m so cute, so I deserve an ice cream,”… They are working really well for me, people.

  • You can’t kill my vibe. It’s already dead.
  • I will outlive all my enemies.
  • Please, just make it stop.

Okay, then after I’ve had my coffee:

  • If a mediocre middle-aged man can do it with confidence, I can do it with spite.
  • Onwards! Upwards! With reckless optimism!
  • But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready, you see. Now my troubles are going To have troubles with me!

Haha, Love it! Mine right now is basically “Universe, I’m open to amazing things like a lottery win”. Not always, but it works better than meditation sometimes.

I think the reason is that repetition reprograms your subconscious, but only if it’s fun. Nobody repeats “I am a vessel of divine light” 40x if it feels hollow. Your brain craves funny ones.

Funny affirmations are mini-spells for us!

This thread is making my day! You’re spot on about tricking your subconscious.

I don’t wanna get all scientific, but laughing drops cortisol and relaxes your nervous system, so affirmations bypass our inner skeptic. Humor is pure magick in affirmation.

And, your “I am cosmically adorable” is perfect… I’m gonna borrow it if you don’t mind.

  • I am worthy of love, snacks, and absolutely no adult responsibilities today.
  • I attract abundance… mostly in the form of unread emails and loose socks.
  • My potential is limitless… just like my tabs and my procrastination.

Oh, I love this one: ‘I am a strong, independent acid snake in the skinsuit of a strong, independent woman.’ Not sure where it comes from, found it on Insta.

You sound like my grandma, she even does affirmations in the most ridiculous voices possible. Maybe try in your best cartoon witch voice - see what happens.

Does aggressive self-motivation consider as funny? “Ask not for whom the bell tolls.” The universe seems to respond well to dramatic literary threats, like it respects the energy or something.

Brilliant. These are all great, but “cosmically adorable” is the one I’m stealing… pure gold.

Oh, wow, that is Trickster Goddess energy.

Yours is great. A very similar one that I also like is “even the void finds me charming.”

I once told my jar spell, ‘You will work because I am delightful and I said so,’… case in point: that jar worked noticeably better than the others.

Love this thread! And no, you are not the only one. My recent one is “Doubts scatter like scared rabbits.”

Feel free to steal it.

I write ridiculous little declarations on the inside of my kitchen cabinet doors.

‘I am unreasonably powerful and also very sleepy’ has been up there since last autumn.

Do you think laughing while saying an affirmation raises energy the same way chanting does? It must be the same mechanism. I started using my silly ones right before spellwork just to get my vibration up, and oh my goddess, the difference.

Everyone here is just replaying my cosmic memory, the whole thing, all of it.

And my silly one is: “I am the last neutron star of a previous universe, finding everything I want with ease.”

My existence causes pain to people who don’t like me. Very Cersei Lannister.

‘I’m a big, brave dog!’ Chuckie from Rugrats. Oh, and everything Eleanor Shellstrop says in The Good Place.
